y acne has subsided,i have used accutane in past and now have scars and only 2 blackheads.Should i expect any bleeding when using the derma roler and would it be appropriate for me concerning the past use of accutane ,now two blackheads and My tender age of 17.?

    thank you so much DR.

  7. samlammd Says:

no i don’t believe that helps. i think that can lead to more scarring IMHO.

  8. OrganicRabies Says:

Do you do punch excisions on certain scars

  9. samlammd Says:

possible pigmentation problems: darker or lighter skin in treated areas.

  10. oOTheContinentOo Says:

Why wouldn’t you do TCA cross on a dark skinned patient?

  11. samlammd Says:

and how much is the silicone procedure?

  17. 1bluemoondj Says:

How do you treat hypertrophy scars?

  18. Arjuna1901 Says:

so basically, dark-skinned patients have no hope to fix their scars. cant do lasers, cant do tca or other peels.

  19. Shredder85 Says:

    booo no disrespecting Dr LAM

  20. Shredder85 Says:

Awesome vid. It’s nice to see youtube actually being put to some good use. Although my home state is Texas, I’m unfortunately several states away for the time being and I also have brown Indian skin so…dunno what I’m gonna do :(

  21. unagiroll Says:

10-25% improvement after how many treatments? How much was it? what skin type/shade?

  22. watchingfirs Says:

I’ve done it myself with 10-25% improvement. This is a great treatment that’s highly successful for many; after care is important too! Thanks for posting this video.

  23. CHEMIELA Says:

    great,.

  24. Fotenks Says:

I wish more doctors did TCA CROSS, it sounds so very promising. Couldn’t you TCA CROSS over and over again until you reach 95-99% improvement Dr. Lam? It seems TCA CROSS isn’t very popular in america, but it seems to work fantastic on icepick and boxcar scars. Doctors are always pushing lasers for this type of scarring but they don’t really work for it.

  25. samlammd Says:

I am not disregarding hypertrophic or keloid scars. I have another video on scar revision. This video is just focused on acne scar pitting.
