Acne Scarring!
Neutrogena Advances Solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel, Lemon juice, Mederma, and Bio Oil are all good solutions for acne scarring. Things you could ask your dermatologist about are Tretinoin (Retin A) and Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Beta Hydroxy Acid (Salicylic Acid) will help too. One product with Alpha Hydroxy Acid that I know of is Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Facial Peel and Milk. You can put milk on a cotton ball and apply to your face and then rinse after it absorbs….

Retin A, AKA “Accutane” I went on this for one full year for severe acne after trying everything. It was very difficult in the beginning, you basically shed off the skin layer of your face, to reveal new skin as she is explaining in this video. The side effects are hardcore, but it works, and is the best thing ive ever done for myself.i still have scarring on my cheek area, and will have FRAXEL treatments once i can afford them.

Mederma does not work. Mederma is a onion-extract based gel which the company claims reduces the scar appearance. Rubbing onion juice on your face is a ridicolous as it sounds.
Bio Oil is another product with false promises. If these over the counter stuff worked than dermatologist wouldnt be doing microdermabrasions or scar laser removal on people now would they? To remove scars you have to peel back the damaged scar tissue for new healthy skin to grow- like with a THA Chemical peel.

ive used mederma on my acne scars.. some were knew scars and some were a years or two old.
and it has reall really been helping. ive only been using it for about 2 weeks. but the changes are really drastic. they have faded a lot.
and yeas u should up it on about 4 or 5 times a day. so if u really want acne scars to be gone. really try out mederma.
when u up on mederma juss put it on the scar not all over the face. and yes it does itch a lot. but the end result is WORTH IT

I would suggest Bio Oil. You can get it at Cvs or Walgreens. It is proven to lessen the appearance of scars with constant use in a few weeks. I would say this for you because this products is not only for acne scars.

I wouldn’t suggest it you will be over drying your face.Dry skin leads to wrinkles faster.Your skin absorbs the most moisture at night so it is best to sleep with a good night cream. You will have super soft skin in the morning, and less wrinkles in the future. Also don’t go anywhere with out sunblock on your face. The sun darkens your marks, causes premature wrinkles.Hope I helped.
