Aloe Vera Gel for Acne Scars

The vitamins and minerals found in aloe vera gel for acne together with its soothing properties help with the swelling. The extract from aloe is known to soften the skin and restore its lost moisture. If applied regularly, you will notice that your skin is softer, smoother and the appearance of wrinkles is reduced due to aloe's collagen content.

Use a spoon to scoop out the gel. Crush the Vitamin C tablet into powder (you can use the back of the spoon) and then drain the contents of the Vitamin E into the mixture. Ratio would be 1 500 mg Vitamins C and 1 400 IU Vitamin E for every ¼ cup of organic aloe vera gel. You can either blend the mixture using a blender or just beat it with a spoon. Using a blender is definitely easier and it's great if you don't want a lumpy mixture. Place it in a clean tightly-sealed container and put it in the refrigerator. You can keep this for up to 8 months.

Acne occurs when your glands in your skin become inflamed. This happens when they get clogged and your body is unable to push out the oil through the skin. I know, it does not sound pretty. But that is what happens.

Treating acne and acne scars is also one of the most well-known aloe vera uses. While the gel won't cure acne completely, its cell-renewing properties will prevent existing acne from scarring. The anti-microbial properties can help reduce inflammation and redness. You won't see the results in a matter of days, it might take weeks before you notice the difference. You can still use certain acne products with benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid in conjunction with your aloe treatment to heal the skin and dry the zits faster.

Hair loss is a condition that affects millions of people and can become quite embarrassing. Because it contains enzymes that stimulate hair growth, aloe gel is an excellent and reliable treatment for hair care. It can also reduce dandruff by cleaning the pores and balancing the pH levels of your scalp. Because of it's moisturizing properties, people with dry or damaged hair have experienced positive results as well. So whether you have thinning hair, dry scalp or damaged hair, this treatment will leave your hair feeling stronger, softer and healthier.

Of chief importance in the formulation of cosmetics and other products is Aloe Vera's pH factor. The plant has a pH almost identical to that of the human skin. And, although Paul Aloe made no claims that his products are hypoallergenic, the gel of the Aloe Vera Plant is a naturally hypoallergenic substance. Its ability to penetrate the water-retaining layer of the skin allows the enzymes within the gel to slough off dead cells, which aids in restoring the complexion.

The best way to use baking soda is to make a paste by mixing it with water. Apply to the skin and rub it in gently, letting it dry. Leave on the skin for about fifteen minutes (or even over night), and remove with warm water. Once removed, use a small amount of moisturizer on the skin as this treatment will tend to dry the skin. Doing this several times a week will help the skin to remain clear while supporting its natural radiance.
