but I get what you mean, only 2 buttons, and years of fun.
Not like games these days, beat them in 6-8 hours (average time for games these days) and never pick them up again.

Who cared about the story back then? Gameplay was all that mattered. That’s why games from the 8 and 16 bit eras were more enjoyable, because the only focus was GAMEPLAY.

I think I was never able to beat this game as a kid without the portal things… haha, even though the story was REALLY stupid and senseless, the gameplay was epic.
