Peroxide is quite bad for the hair, like it will dry out your hair a lot but it makes it like bright blondey-white if you use it. I had the hairdresser put strips of blond in my dark brown hair before and she used peroxide but I guess my hair is perfectly fine! Thanks for the tips-bit of a gross sub but if it helps people I guess (Y) *thumbs up*
You can bleach hair with peroxide but in my experience it tends to turn really orange especially considering your natural hair colour is pretty dark. I’m not sure what it would do if you did it more than once though. I once soaked a piece of hair I had cut off in a bowl of peroxide for about a week and it was still orange(I have red-brown hair). I probably wouldn’t suggest using it to acheive any shade of blonde.
