The trick is to leave it on for a while. It doesn’t make the zits disappear immediately, they usually go down by the next day. Of course, your own skin may determine how effective it is.

Oh, this was taped before Madeline took a trip to visit Italy two years ago. Doesn’t seem that long ago, but I guess time flies when you’re having fun.

Stuff like Visine or a drugstore brand. You want to get the kind that is for red and irritated eyes, versus the stuff that is just for dry eyes.
Personally, I’ve done it with just the toothpaste and it worked fine (just make sure you use paste, not the gel).
