hi! i had rosacea for about 5 years now. i lived a few years in costa rica where its also very hot (but u have to know cause its near honduras :p) and i’m living in germany now where its very cold. my rosacea is now a little better because the sun here isn’t very strong but when it’s winter and the temperatures get really low my face gets really red….so my conclusion is that it gets a little better but when the winter arrives its almost the same as living in a very hot country.

Hi, I’m 26 years old, my rosacea started 4 months ago, my face suddenly turned red and burned, I’ve been treated and I could reduce the redness, I’m from Honduras a very warm country, my mother is british and my grandma is irish, I can’t control my rosacea in this hot enviroment cause I can never calm the redness because of the weather, so I’m thinking on moving to England wich I think that even if cold is bad for rosacea, I think it’s better than hot, any one can help me with this? hot vs cold

I always had a mild case of rosacea and I used finacea which worked Great . Redness all gone. This winter I had an outbreak . the sides of my nose and face turn red and started get tight and burning. I started eating bland food and started taking Minocycline and a topical antibiotic cream and its mostly gone. I also got rid of all fluoride products. Common people if you find something that works . POST IT.

I just used the Polish mask on my face and it turned it bright red. This was included in a kit for Rosacea sufferers of the Osmosis line, so I don’t understand why it just made my Rosacea worse! The other products have not given me this reaction. Although, they do not have any calming effect to my redness ither. I do hope that with time they will reduce my redness. Not too sure what do with the my Polish mask now. I think Roscecea sufferers should be careful with this particular mask.

We are celtics, that´s our heritage, and they were a great civilization, just want to to make all of you feel better, to the one´s who have to suffer this pain.

  12. WhiteLadyofRohan1980 Says:

I understand you perfectly, i lived the same at school, (It´s difficult for everyone, but I´m a girl and I think It´s worst) people are cruel and ignorant with the one´s who suffer this thing, never mind, just go ahead, just keep looking for new treatments as I do, good luck.

I’m an actor and also a stand up comic, when ever i come of stage the firs thing people people say is ” was it hot up there?” i always say yeah its the lights when in actual fact im thinking, no not really thats just my face! or another classic, “have you been on holiday you look sun burnt?” to which i said “no thats just how i look” she said “oh thats lucky”….yeah i count my blessings everyday, in a minute i gonna put my face under he grill waste not want not”

when i feel most uncomforable is rush hour in london, packed on a train i can actually feel my face starting to burn up. on a few occasions ive had bouncers almost not let me into a club due to the fact they think im pissed!…..

i saw a jamacan lady getting of the tube the other day and she also had it, never seen it in a skin tone that dark before i could tell she was very aware of it, our eyes met and in that moment we both seemed to undersand the plight of the other…………either that or i’m mental.

  16. judrus Says:

I have had rosacea for 30 yrs and tried antibotics and many topical treatments. It is hereditary as my mother had it and my 2 sons also have it.

  17. OrganicAndFree Says:

I’m not sure if I have rosacea but my cheeks are always permanently red/pink. I’m Irish and have natural red hair, pale skin with freckles. But whenever I’m working out, get embarrassed or if it’s too hot my cheeks flare up even redder but I think it may be just a part of being ginger… :/

  18. CodyParker7 Says:

also there should be consequences for slurs against rosacea
i go to school and trust me i get it everyday
the kids who want to look tough so they make fun of my face
and when some people even slap my face it makes me want to fuck them up; because it burns so bad
People ask how racism could of occured when ignorant assholes still pull the same shit on people who look different then they do

  19. CodyParker7 Says:

    15, cheeks burn/unbelievably red
it gets worse as the years go by
my mom has it in her eyes
    grandpa on his cheeks
about 50% Celtic heritage; so how can you say it’s a “problem inside”?
what i find funny is how your makeup people thought it would be clever to put blush on the all the typical spots where redness occurs
when you don’t realize that it affects the whole cheek not just the upper part

  20. IFoodForThoughtI Says:

Same problem, same age, same solution, wonderful results. Rosacea was ruining my life! I was sick of people asking if I was winded, sunburned, or blushing. It gets old after 15 + years.

This is a very interesting video, but I would like if it could progress on to the next steps,ie explore the cures.

  22. bbbbbb222222 Says:

bullshit, i got rosacea from my mother trough genes, and you tell me that it is just because a “problem inside, like social life problems”… pfff fuck off nigger, go get a degree at something

  23. fito65 Says:

    Thanks for your support !!
    God bless you.

  24. bustasnipe Says:

If you just have a problem with capillary veins showing then I would say laser treatment is probably an effective way to reduce the visibility. This will not give you a permanent treatment, but from what I hear it can last around a year and you can always do touch ups later on. I haven’t really looked into it so you should first check with a dermatologist and then ask about the laser treatment or any alternative’s. GL, and God Bless.

  25. fito65 Says:

    Hello.
Time ago, I have seen my face skin is red, and can see blood capilar broken in my nose and other parts of my face.
A friend of mine told me that try with a diet with vegetables and fruits, and go with Doctor for a laser treatment, that is very effective.
    What do you think ?
    Thanks.
