natural ways to get rid of acne

Do you have acne? That must be hard. But wait there is still hope. Read the following tips for getting rid of that problem: 1. Eat more fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. You can easily create juices and smoothies using ripe fruit or consume one salad daily, even as just a side dish. You can also pop in nuts and dried fruits in between meals. Brazil nuts have selenium while pumpkin seeds contain zinc both these minerals are lacking in people with acne. So take in lots of these two. 2. Try to drink at least two liters of still mineral water daily. When the skin is dehydrated, dead skin cells remain on the skin which may block pores and promote acne. 3. If you have been prescribed antibiotics to control your acne, remember that antibiotics destroy all kinds of bacteria in your digestive tract even good bacteria. Without good bacteria, you will have poor digestion, constipation, and be less able to absorb essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients. This, in turn, may lead to increased acne production since your body cannot expel waste effectively. Toxins pass through your skin instead. To prevent this from occurring, replace the good bacteria in your digestive tract with a good quality probiotic. 4. You may try consuming some supplements since your diet may not incorporate every vitamin, mineral and nutrient necessary to getting and keeping clear skin. Some supplements are really helpful to people with acne, such as: • Maca This is a powdered root vegetable from Peru

Three Great Ways to Cure Pimples

If you’re suffering from acne, you’re probably familiar with what a pimple looks like: A red, puffy lump on your face, your chest, or your back filled with white or yellow puss that’s just begging to be popped.  Unfortunately, popping pimples is not a good way to cure pimples, as this can actually infect the pimple and smear the bacteria-ridden liquid all across your face, causing even more pimples.  Not only is this disgusting, it worsens your acne and sometimes causes scarring.  Thus, you need to find a way to cure pimples that doesn’t require picking.

Now, understand the curing pimples and curing acne are not the same thing.  There is no such thing as a cure for acne; there are only ways to control and/or eliminate it.  However, to cure pimples one at a time you simply need to pick the right topical or internal treatment that will clear it away within a matter of a few days.

The most unfortunate thing about pimples is that they usually pop up when they’re least welcome, such as before a big date, prom, your wedding, or senior pictures.

The good news is, there are ways you can reduce the size of pimples and lighten their appearance as well as cover them up before you need to go somewhere.  Here’s three ways of doing that:

1. To decrease their size: Put ice on the pimple for 15-20 minutes.  This will help take the pain away and reduce the swelling it’s causing.

2. To lighten the appearance: Use a topical cream, such as benzoyl peroxide or a sulfur treatment like the ones sold through Proactiv.

3. To cover up: The secret to covering a pimple is to not use too much cover up.  Believe it or not, it just gets chunky on your face, dries up, and falls right off, exposing the pimple.  Use a tiny bit of cover up, apply it with a clean fingertip or Q-tip, and dust with a little powder.

Another great way to cure pimples (and prevent them) is to go on an acne diet. You can find out more about curing pimples right here at

Get Rid of Pimples Overnight: 5 Ways to Get Rid of Pimples Overnight

Doctors and dermatologists have a tendency to claim that you can’t get rid of pimples overnight. I’m here to tell you that they’re lying. You can get rid of pimples overnight, and I’ll show you five easy ways to do just that.

1. Cover your pimples with ice: Instantly reduce swelling and inflammation by placing a wrapped ice cube or ice pack on your pimples. Keep it there for about 15 minutes, and in just a little while your pimples will be less red and puffy.

2. Orange peel facial: Make an easy poultice of grated orange peel and water to get rid of bacteria in the pimple. Simply grind some orange peel with a potato peeler or grater and mix the shavings with 1 tablespoon of water. Wash your face with a facial cleanser and apply the poultice to each of your pimples. Leave it on until it’s dried – usually about 15 minutes or so. Rinse it off with warm water, and pat your face dry with a clean washcloth.

3. Remove the pimple with a blackhead/whitehead extractor: This takes a special touch, but you can easily get rid of a pimple with an extractor tool as long as it’s not a cyst. If you can see the white head on top of the pimple, it is safe to remove the pimple.

To begin, wash your face and sanitize the extractor tool in alcohol or hydrogen peroxide if it’s not clean from a previous use. Using the looped end (or the cupped end, depending on which style you own), gently glide the tool over your pimple until the pus oozes out. Don’t press so hard you begin to make impressions in your skin. Stop immediately if you start drawing blood out of the pore instead of pus.

4. Remove the pimple using Q-tips: If you don’t have an acne extractor tool, you can use this simple technique to get rid of your pimples overnight without causing a scar. Take one Q-tip, break it in half, and arrange the two soft heads on either side of the pimple. With ever so little pressure, squeeze the pimple with the two ends, and soak up the pus with the cotton. Stop if you start squeezing out blood.

Apply benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid cream or spray to the pimple after extracting it; if you need to cover up the little red spot, use an oil-free cover up or concealer.

5. Apply a little sulfur treatment, like the kind that comes in the Proactiv bonus kit, to your pimple for ten minutes. Wash it off with warm water and a washcloth and don’t apply any other treatments for at least four hours afterwards.

If you’re still wondering how to get rid of pimples overnight, help is on the way with more ways to get rid of them at http://www.goacnefree.info. 85% of the world’s population deals with acne every day, so you’re not alone. There is hope!

Still Squeezing Pimples? Try These Smart Ways to Get Rid of Pimples Now!

Don’t pick, squeeze, pop, push, press or otherwise manipulate your pimples in any way. Doing this can not only increase the risk of spreading bacteria, but it can also cause you to have permanent scarring. There are a number of healthy things you can do to fight acne and pimples instead.

1. Try over the counter acne products that contain benzoyl peroxide up to twice a day. This will help decrease the amount of bacteria. Benzoyl peroxide comes in different concentrations. You should start out with lower concentrations to reduce drying of the skin. If necessary, you can move to higher concentrations later. Use a moisturizer for acne to keep skin hydrated.
2. Wash your face once or twice per day, using a mild soap. For oily skin you should use a cleanser that contains benzoyl peroxide.
3. Have you noticed a concentration of acne on the side of your face or cheek? Change your pillow case frequently. A clean pillow case will decrease the chance of spreading bacteria.
4. Don’t use any hard brushes, sponges or cleansers on your face. It can damage your skin.
5. Avoid oil based facial products. Opt for make-up that is water based. Certain make-ups even have oil absorbing qualities. The ones with sunscreen will also help protect your skin.

6. If you use a concealer, buy one that contains acne fighting ingredients.
7. Try not to touch your face with your hands. This can encourage the spread of bacteria.
8. Drink plenty of water and eat a healthy balanced diet. Pay attention to see if certain foods cause breakouts.
9. Vitamins A, C and E as well as Iron work well in fighting acne and can be purchased at your local drug store. Vitamin E can also help repair scarring, either by taking it orally or applying it directly to the affected area.
10. If you take birth control, ask your doctor to prescribe one that helps deter acne.

11. Honey has a natural antimicrobial action and has been used to fight acne for a long time. Try a honey mask!
12. Moderate exercise will help blood flow and the elimination of toxins.
13. Spend some time outside. Vitamin D from the sun helps reduce acne. Just don’t over do it. You don’t want to get sun burn.
14. Reduce stress that can cause acne flair ups. Spend time with friends, exercise, take a walk in the park, listen to music or take a yoga class.

There are no magic solutions to get rid of acne, but eating right, drinking plenty of water, reducing stress and using proper skin care will help a lot.

How to Cure Acne – the Best Possible Ways

Acne affects almost everyone — more than 90% of all adolescents, nearly 50% of all adult women and 25% of all adults. Crossing gender lines as well as national borders, it’s one of the most widespread medical conditions in the world. Yet there’s still no cure.

But there is hope. While acne is not curable, it is treatable. We now know more about controlling this condition than ever before. The secret to managing acne is prevention — stopping this condition before it exhibits visual symptoms. Once you have found an acne treatment that helps you accomplish this, it’s important to stick with it. Even after pimples disappear, you may need to continue treatment to keep new blemishes at bay. It’s also crucial to begin treatment as soon as the first signs appear; the sooner you address your acne, the less likely you are to experience permanent damage to your skin. Of course, in order to stop acne, we must first find out how it starts.

CURING ACNE IS NOT A HEADACE NOW

What causes acne? One of the most important things you can learn about acne is this:

It’s not your fault. Contrary to popular belief, acne is not caused by anything you’re doing — what you eat, how often you wash your face or work out — but by a combination of factors at work far beneath the surface of your skin.

A healthy follicle
A blemish begins approximately 2–3 weeks before it appears on your skin’s surface. It starts in your sebaceous hair follicles — the tiny holes commonly called pores. Deep within each follicle, your sebaceous glands are working to produce sebum, the oil that keeps your skin moist and pliable. As your skin renews itself, the old cells die, mix with your skin’s natural oils, and are sloughed off. Under normal circumstances, these cells are shed gradually, making room for fresh new skin.

But sloughing is different for everyone. Some people shed cells evenly; some don’t. Uneven shedding causes dead cells to become sticky, clumping together to form a plug — much like a cork in a bottle. This plug, or comedo, traps oil and bacteria inside the follicle.

A plugged follicle
The plug traps oil and bacteria within the follicle, which begins to swell as your skin continues its normal oil production. Your body then attacks the bacteria with a busy swarm of white blood cells. The whole process takes 2–3 weeks, culminating in a pimple.

An inflamed acne lesion
Why me? There is no one simple “cause” of acne — the condition is influenced by many factors, many which are out of your control. The regularity with which you shed skin cells can change throughout your life. The rate at which you produce sebum is affected by your hormone balance, which is often in flux — especially for women. Research has also shown that genetics play a big part in the development and persistence of acne, so your family history is a valuable prediction tool as well when considering the various causes of acne.

WE CAN NOW TELL YOU SOME EASY WAYS ON HOW TO CURE ACNE.

One of the best weapons in the fight against acne, however, is knowledge; if you know what causes acne, it’s easier to formulate a good plan of attack. There are five primary culprits contributing to this process. Each of these factors may vary dramatically between individuals. While you don’t have control over these factors, understanding them can help you in your search for the proper acne treatment.

Acne Causes – Culprit #1: Hormones. For the majority of acne sufferers, the trouble begins at puberty, when the body begins to produce hormones called androgens. These hormones cause the sebaceous glands to enlarge, which is a natural part of the body’s development. In acne sufferers, however, the sebaceous glands are overstimulated by androgens, sometimes well into adulthood. Androgens are also responsible for acne flare-ups associated with the menstrual cycle and, on occasion, pregnancy.

Acne Causes – Culprit #2: Follicle fallout. Normally, dead cells within the follicle shed gradually and are expelled onto the skin’s surface. But in patients with overactive sebaceous glands — and in nearly everyone during puberty — these cells are shed more rapidly. Mixed with a surplus of sebum, the dead skin cells form a plug in the follicle, preventing the skin from finishing its natural process of renewal.

Acne Causes – Culprit #3: Inflammation. When your body encounters unwanted bacteria, it sends an army of white blood cells to attack the intruders. This process is called chemotaxis; or, simply put, the inflammatory response. This is what causes pimples to become red, swollen and painful. The inflammatory response is different for everyone, but studies have shown that it is especially strong in adult women.

What can I do? Fortunately, you have options! There are many kinds of acne treatments available today. But first, you should try to determine the type and severity of your condition. Acne, like a person, is highly individual — it can take many forms, and have a highly variable response to treatment. The more you know about your specific form of acne, the more likely you are to find a treatment that works for you.
