What makeup foundation is good for acne prone skin but gives good long lasting coverage?

I don’t have severe acne or anything, my face isn’t too oily or too dry, but it seems like I always have some acne and I do wear makeup a lot. I want to find a good foundation that wont cause acne, but gives good coverage because my face isn’t even toned and i have blemishes etc.
Thanks!

it sounds like you have pretty average skin. but most of the time certain makeups that are good for one persons type of skin is not good for anothers.
you should try a few different makeups… but the best kind is usually mineral powder makeups. if you want the best, buy some Bare Minerals. it’s expensive but very good. also you can look at Beauty Control makeup.. it’s a very good company and sells almost the same stuff as Bare Minerals for a little cheaper.

Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin Enhancer is great for skin and it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing any makeup. It’s really light but it gives good coverage and I definitely recommend it. For more color dust buffing beads, shimmery light pink beads, over skin for a healthy glow.

I recently discovered Neutrogena Glow Sheers foundation, it works well with acne prone skin. However, you will need an additional concealer for heavy spot coverage.

I could not live without this concealer!! CoverBlend by Exuviance.

You can find this being sold at most Dermatologists offices or at Beauty First stores.

For foundation and powder I use Cliniques brand. They have everything for every skin type.

Clinique can be found at most department stores such as Younkers, Dillards, Von Maur, etc..

They are all worth the price, which isn’t too bad.

I was in about the same situation as you. I cut out liquid foundation completely and started using a loose powder. It doesn’t cover as good, but my skin cleared up and now I don’t need it to be covered as much.
